What We Know So Far About LA Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2022 (& Highlights From Last Fall/Winter)

As details begin to roll out regarding the highly-anticipated Spring/Summer lineup for LA Fashion Week 2022, I'm already beyond excited for the 4-day event. While we await the final list of designers who will be showcasing their collections, let's go over what we do know so far and then recap some standouts from last year's Fall/Winter Fashion Week.

Before we take a stroll down memory lane into last year's fall/winter show, here's what we know so far about the LAFW 2022 spring/summer runway show:

  • When: March 31 - April 3

  • Where: The Petersen Automotive Museum, Los Angeles, CA

  • Themes: Cars & Fashion, Red Carpet, Contemporary & Streetwear

  • Designers: TBA

Further details will be announced soon so be sure to check back for updates. In the meantime, let's revisit some highlights from last season. The 4-day event took place at The Petersen Automotive Museum from October 7-10, 2021, which turned out to be a beautiful and interactive venue. Health and safety precautions were in place including proof of vaccination for entry, indoor area mask requirements and an outdoor runway. Guests were able to mingle amongst exquisite car exhibits and went home with lots of gifts and goodies, including personalized engraved chalices courtesy of Stella Artois.

I was utterly impressed and inspired by the magic that graced the runway each night. Here are a few of my favorite looks and collections from the show:

Frisk Me Good x Cierra Boyd

Sexy, sporty and vibrant

Oliver Tolentino

Stunning gowns and eye-popping formalwear

Greg Lauren

Artistic combinations of layers and textures

Laura Theiss

Next-level luxury knitwear

Bishme Cromartie

Sleek and colorful pieces with striking prints

Stay tuned for more details including the final roster of designers, special performances, etc. as we approach the event date! Be sure to subscribe to my newsletter and follow me on Instagram so you don't miss a beat.
